GAS SAFETY CHECKS & CERTIFICATES
Whether it's just for peace of mind, buying a new property, for insurance purposes or if you are a Landlord, a Gas Safety inspection will ensure a property complies with current gas safety legislation. You will also be made aware if any further works are required to make appliances safe for use.
Subsequent to a Gas Safety inspection or annual service, a Gas Safety Certificate (formerly referred to as a CP12) will be issued.
Combing a Boiler Service and Gas Safety Inspection on the same visit is the most cost effective option.
A series of visual and/or operational checks and tests on your gas appliance(s) and/or pipework that you have requested for inspection, to check compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and other standards in force at the time of installation will be carried out.
Subsequent to a Service & Inspection of an Oil fired boiler a CD/11 (Service and Commissioning Report) will be issued. OFTEC Service and Commissioning Reports, (CD/11) when completed correctly enables our Service & Commissioning Technicians to show compliance with the building, health, safety and efficiency regulatory requirements and the manufacturers service and commissioning instructions. This also enables the technician to record any discrepancies or concerns they have with the installation as found.
